Where a fan takes the middle of the ceiling, wall sconces can light the room from its edges. A dining room can take a chandelier or a pendant over the table, and in the bath, vanity lights frame the mirror. Outdoor wall lights show visitors to the front door, and a foyer light hangs in the entry inside it.
